The take up of innovate solutions to learning and assessment such as e-Assessment is increasing world-wide.

e-Assessment, defined as the use of technology to measure skills, knowledge and understanding. Innovation is moving us  away from assessment just by online multiple choice tests to a dazzling array of assessments embedded within 21st century learning environments. This is just one example of the many exciting areas of innovation entering the arena of learning and assessment - the areas of innovation that are the focus of these seminars

In order to ensure widespread skills development within rural  and urban areas technology must become the principal tool for developing the skill base of the whole population. The use of IT and ICT tools will have a profound and widespread impact on the whole employment pyramid from the village and the farm, to the semi-urban and international corporate world.

Within education (from the school room to the post graduate seminar) trainers, government agencies and test providers are actively engaged in developing technology based learning and assessment solutions. These enable the provision of reliable, flexible development for learners, students and employees.
